Psychotherapy for adults across California

In this space, anything can be said.
Such freedom is essential to working through what hurts, angers, scares, or hinders.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist based in San Francisco, California. I meet with people whose relationships, inner life, or work have become unsettled in ways that resist ready-made solutions. Rather than rushing to explain anguish or despair, I listen closely to what is present and to where the words themselves may lead.

I provide depth-oriented psychotherapy in English and Tagalog and work with individuals across cultures and life stages — from those navigating the anxieties of early adulthood to those immersed in the complexities of midlife and beyond.

I attend equally to what is spoken and to what remains unconsciously muted — that which has gone too long without saying or been disavowed.

Together, and over time, we confront forces that surreptitiously, at times painfully, organize the way one lives, works, and loves.

In my experience, returning to therapy after having done extensive and meaningful work reflects life's ongoing complexity. New questions — or older, unresolved ones — often emerge at the threshold of a new phase. My practice is well-suited to those who wish to continue building upon prior work and for those ready to begin an active and committed engagement.
